DESCRIPTION:Biases are unfair personal opinions that influence one’s judgment\, whether explicit (conscious) or implicit (unconscious). They impact the information one hears and considers as well as how one interprets that information. Left unchecked\, biases impair one’s ability to think critically\, and can prevent critical thinking altogether. This course will explain why and how self-awareness is a necessary first step in reducing biases.
