DESCRIPTION:This course will focus on social neuroscience to help understand human behavior in conflict. Our brain\, as a network of billions of pulsating neurons\, does not operate in social isolation. Join BRDGES for an interactive journey through the cutting-edge research of neuroscience from molecular to social\, learning more about how our brain operates\, how the different structures of the single brain are interconnected and how they relate to other parts of our body. The course will discuss the process within the organism in conflict situations\, and how it impacts us as human beings — the way we feel\, think and interact. While discussing the collective reality\, the course also will analyze individual behavior in the heat of a conflict to assist in one’s daily conflict resolution practice.
